Funding Workforce Training
In March Bill Gates provided testimony to the US Senate Education,
Labor and Pension Committee. During his testimony Gates emphasized
that “America must invest in competitiveness and innovation;
equip America’s workers with the knowledge and skill
they need to succeed in today’s knowledge economy.”

workforce’s ability to compete in the global economy.
Most often the question is, "How will we pay for these
skill upgrades?”
This month’s WorkforceEnterprise
Newsletter looks at a few of the innovative ways skills training
has been funded in our community and ideas for furthering
efforts.
