Interfaith Older Adult Programs
Mature Workers Resource Center

Description
The Mature Workers Resource Center (MWRC) is located in Washington Park Senior Center at 4420 W. Vliet Street. The MWRC provides a central resource for mature workers and serves individuals over the age of 50 who need assistance in finding employment.

Services Include
• One-on-one employment counseling services.
• Skills, aptitudes and interest assessments.
• Wisconsin JobNet and access to internet job search engines.
• Printed resource materials.
• Coordination of services between partner agencies.
• Work readiness workshops.
• Job search and referral.
• Interviewing skills assessments.
• Resume creation and critiquing.
• Connection to occupational training programs.

Eligibility
Must be over age 50 and a Milwaukee County Resident

Cost
No fees for clients or employers using MWRC facilities or programs

Financial Assistance Available
Short term occupational training and subsidized employment may be available for individuals meeting income and other eligibility requirements as determined by funders.
