Just what is it that you want from a course?
- Is it an introduction?
- Is it an overview?
- Does it provide mastery of some specific material?
- Does it lead to behavioral change?
Once you decide, then an examination of the details of the offerings is in order. There is no need to take an extended course if behavioral change is not desired. And it may be inefficient to take several general or introductory courses if greater mastery is desired. Again, it is wise to decide before choosing just what sort of outcome is sought.
